Icons: Snag any icon you want but...y'know, credit is always nice. Most of them are in entries if I'm not too lazy.
I love Japanese (日本語が大好きです). Most of my Japanese posts are F-locked because I am such a novice, except for my hiraganimation and katakanimation. Please note that I drew those by hand and animated them myself, so please PLEASE do not steal them. However, if you ask me, I'll probably give you permission to use them with credit.
I also love my native tongue, English. This causes some dissonance, actually, when it comes to Japanese vs. English fights in fandom.
To My Friends: Note that I do like to practice my Japanese so you will probably see the occasional Nihongo entry. However, I usually provide a translation (or, more accurately, put down in English what I *intended* to say for the purpose of understanding and corrections). I don't update very often, but when I do, it tends to be in jags.
I have great appreciation for the following characters (though it's certainly not limited to those shown)...

An overview: On the fandom front, I don't like slash and I don't read it. I will probably watch dubs if they are available in an anime I'm watching, but I'm not aversed to subtitles. However, I do not take kindly to people dissing dubs just for existing. In general, I try to be respectful of other people's opinions as long as they are respectful of mine. I'm usually up for a good debate as long as it doesn't get personal.
